School cleaner

We are looking to appoint new members to our amazing school cleaning team to undertake cleaning of the school building and facilities in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. We are looking for someone, preferably with previous cleaning experience, but especially someone who takes pride in their work and wants to help make an environment where staff want to teach and students want to learn. The successful candidates will work during term time and directed specific periodic cleaning times which will equate to 41 working weeks a year plus associated holidays. The post is on Cornwall Council Grade B but as an employer that pays the national Living Wage the hourly rate will be £12.65. At Budehaven we are committed to the safeguarding of our students and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
