Budehaven Community School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and committed Head of Sixth Form to lead and develop our post 16 provision. This role will also involve a teaching timetable at Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially 5 dependent upon timetable requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to build on the excellent successes of the current Head of Sixth Form, while playing a central role in the strategic growth, recruitment and sustainability of our Sixth Form.
The successful candidate will provide strong, visible leadership, ensuring high academic standards, excellent pastoral care and clear progression pathways for all students. They will work closely with senior leaders and staff to strengthen the Sixth Form offer and promote it effectively within the school and wider community.
We are looking for an excellent practitioner with a strong understanding of post 16 education, the ability to inspire students and colleagues, and the vision to grow and shape a thriving Sixth Form.
