Late night Shopping 15th December: The Budehaven Festive Triangle
We have been very fortunate this year to have been given the Triangle in the centre of town to run a Christmas festival.
This is a whole school effort, with lots of departments contributing. Our theme for the evening will be sustainability and healthy living. A percentage of all proceeds will be going to support the charity CLIC Sargent.
There will be a variety of stalls, ranging from:
Festive food and drink, creative crafts, Pupils’ and local Artists’ Art work from BAGS, face painting and glitter tattoos, photo in a frame, table top sale.
There will also be festive fitness games, Drama’s spectacular silver street statues and a variety of musical and dance performances.
In addition to this, we are joined by Bude Cleaner Seas who will be running a stall showcasing and selling rope bowls made out of ghost nets.
St Petrocs primary will be in Christmas spirit with a nativity and donkey rides and the Scouts will be there to offer their Christmas postal service.
There will also be an amazing display of recycled lanterns made out of plastic milk bottles, which have been made in workshops with the local primary schools, Bude, Stratton and St Petrocs.
This project was a collaboration between BAAM and Budehaven Art Department.
The pupils involved in these workshops will follow Santa’s parade with their lanterns – I’m sure you’ll agree that will be a magical site!
The event will run from 5:30pm-8:00pm.
We look forward to seeing you on the night to support our efforts and enjoy the festive evening.
Seasons Greetings
