I am sure many of you watched Boris Johnson’s address last night, and will have many questions about “what happens next”.
I am awaiting the official Government release later today, which will hopefully clarify things regarding how the revised measures will affect Budehaven Community School and our families. In the short-term, nothing has changed; we are still providing supervision for children of Key Workers, we are continuing to provide Free School Meals lunch hampers, and staff will continue to upload work to Show My Homework, and provide feedback to students where necessary.
I am “meeting” virtually with staff on a daily basis to refine how we deliver the work for students, and the content we include, and we welcome your valuable feedback.
I have been asked on a number of occasions by friends, family, colleagues and parents “do you know anything that we don’t know?” and the answer is “I know as much as you do”
As soon as I get more information, I will relay it to you, so we are all as aware as we can be regarding what happens next. I will continue to provide further information as it comes through from central Government in the coming days and weeks. If you do have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us, as we are working every day, as per the normal school calendar. Please use the enquiries@budehaven.cornwall.sch.uk email address, and we will direct it to the right person.
