Learning to Learn is an exciting new course for our learners at Budehaven. Learners in the 21st Century need to be equipped with the challenges of learning in a fast paced and ever changing world - this course aims to prepare them by helping them to become resilient, resourceful, responsible, reasoning and reflective. The course will teach learners the skills to learn! These are the skills they will need in any new learning situation whether that learning situation be learning how to solve a maths problem, learning how to surf or facing a challenge as part of a team.

The course is taught by a team of seven teachers from a range of subject areas. It will begin in Year 7 where students will have two Learning to Learn lessons per fortnight with the same teacher. The course is divided into three units:
